Stephen McDonagh

Stephen McDonagh is currently the Head of Risk & Compliance at Anderson Strathern, where he also serves as the CRE Head of Knowledge. He started his legal career as a Trainee Solicitor at the Scottish Government and has since worked his way up to become a Partner at the firm. With a background in Law and Languages from the Universities of Edinburgh and Glasgow, Stephen also holds a Master of Philosophy in Poetry of Federico Garcia Lorca from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Prior to his current role, he has held positions as an Associate at Tods Murray LLP and Solicitor at Semple Fraser LLP. Outside of his legal career, Stephen has experience as the Head of Spanish and House Master at Downside College.
