Mr. Virendraa Bangur hails from the renowned Kolkata — based business house of Bangurs and is the constituent of the "SK Bangur group" of Industries comprising West Cost Paper Mills Limited, Dandeli.
He has had varied experience of the Industrial and corporate world, areas of his special interest being paper, newsprint, chemicals, IT, electronics, optic fibre, telephone and power cable and plantations. He has grown in hierarchy since 1997 to 11.11.2019 beginning with Management Executive to Chief Executive in West Coast Optilinks (A division of West Coast Paper Mills Limited). Presently, Joint Managing Director of West Coast Paper Mills Limited.
Mr. Virendraa Bangur holds directorship in numerous companies such as Jayshree Chemicals Limited, Taparia Tools Limited, Kilkotagiri and Thirumbadi Plantations Limited, West Coast Opticables Limited and Gloster Cables Limited. He is also Director of few Private Limited companies.
He is the Committee Member of India Chamber of Commerce, member of Young presidents' Organisation (YPO) and Entrepreneur Organisation.
He is an active member of Calcutta Swimming Club, Bengal Rowing Club, Tollygunge Club and Royal Calcutta Turf Club.
He has been appointed as Non-Executive Director of the Company effective December 30, 2019 and redesignated as Vice Chairman of the Comapny effective May 29, 2020.

Andhra Paper Limited, formerly International Paper APPM Limited, is an integrated paper and pulp manufacturing company. The Company is engaged in the business of manufacture and sale of pulp, paper and paper board. It produces writing, printing, copier and industrial papers for foreign and domestic markets and offers a range of specialty grade products that are custom engineered to suit specific and a range of applications. It offers a range of office documentation and multipurpose papers, from economy to premium grades for both home and commercial use. It operates over two manufacturing units at Rajahmundry and Kadiyam. Its unit at Rajahmundry produces approximately 174, 000 metric tons (MT) of finished paper and 181, 500 MT of bleached pulp annually. Its unit at Kadiyam has a rated capacity to produce approximately 67, 000 MT per annum of finished paper, such as cream wove, colored copiers and kraft liner using recycled fiber and purchased pulp as base raw materials.
