Daniel Franklin

Daniel Franklin's work experience includes a range of leadership roles in various companies. Daniel is currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer & Supply Chain Officer at Andis Company since November 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Lean Manufacturing Officer at the same company since April 2020.

Before joining Andis Company, Daniel worked at Scot Forge as the Director of Engineering from October 2018 to April 2020. In this role, they managed a team of over 30 engineers and was responsible for processing a significant portion of the company's orders and driving revenue. Daniel also played a key role in capital acquisitions and implemented process controls and continuous improvement concepts.

From July 2016 to October 2018, Daniel held the position of VP of Manufacturing Operations at The Master Lock Company. In this role, they managed over 2300 associates across three manufacturing sites and had a budget of over $95 million. Daniel'sfocus was on capacity planning and aligning with the organization's strategic goals for growth.

Prior to that, Daniel worked at Harley-Davidson Motor Company for several years. Daniel served as the Director of Operations from June 2010 to July 2016, overseeing plant operations for the Machining Departments and managing a large team and budget. Daniel also held the role of Area Manager/Process Lead from April 2007 to June 2010, where they successfully produced thousands of gears per day for motorcycle powertrains and operated below budget.

Daniel's earlier experience includes working at Plastech as the Operations Manager/Assistant Plant Manager from October 2005 to April 2007. In this role, they had P&L responsibility for a significant revenue and managed a large team in the assembly, molding, and paint departments. Daniel implemented various process improvement initiatives and improved quality metrics.

Overall, Daniel Franklin has extensive experience in operations management, supply chain, lean manufacturing, and process improvement across multiple industries.

Daniel Franklin completed a Disruptive Strategy course at Harvard Business School Online in 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from Marquette University in 2012. Daniel also holds a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University, which they obtained in 2005. In addition, Daniel Franklin received a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Operations Management and Supervision from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2001. Daniel'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Michigan State University, which they completed in 1998.
