Kyle Benik has several years of work experience in the engineering field. Kyle started their career as an Industrial Engineer Intern at Lavelle Industries, Inc. in 2015, where they conducted time studies, wrote procedural operations documents, and coordinated information between machine operators and the engineering team. In 2016, they worked at Greenheck as a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op, where they created production orders, designed and constructed manufacturing tools, and programmed and operated hydraulic roller machines. Kyle also gained experience in management as a Student Manager at UW-Platteville Dining Services from 2016 to 2017, where they had responsibilities such as training and overseeing a crew. Currently, they are working at Andis Company since 2018 as a Manufacturing Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for various operations in the Machine Shop, including parts cleaning and wash systems upgrades, buffing, polishing, electroplating, and fine honing/lapping of high carbon and stainless steel blades. Kyle also has additional responsibilities such as managing production rework, procurement of new machinery, process development and continuous improvement, and new product launches.
From 2012 to 2017, Kyle Benik pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology and Management at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
