Senior Embedded Engineer at Andium

Husam I. has over 10 years of experience in the technology industry. Husam began their career in 2007 as a Firmware Engineering Intern at NCR Corporation, where they developed and tested firmware for two modules within a cheque processing machine using the C programming language. Husam also supported current and legacy modules in the field by analyzing trace logs and corresponding with customers, as well as collaboratively conducted software unit tests of cheque processing machines.

In 2011, Husam I. returned to NCR Corporation as a Software/Firmware Innovation Engineer. In this role, they worked within an interdisciplinary group of 10 tasked with developing new innovative branch and ATM technology as part of a joint venture between NCR and Wells Fargo Bank. Husam led concept SW development efforts, including design, development, and testing of RESTful WebAPI servers facilitating mobile and browser apps to interact with concept hardware. Husam also demonstrated concept hardware at summits, conferences, and trade shows to attendees from local and international banks.

Husam I. currently works as a Senior Embedded Engineer at Andium, a position they have held since 2019.

Husam I. attended McMaster University from 2003 to 2009 and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering & Society.
