Mathew Jensen

Mathew Jensen has extensive work experience in the actuarial and pricing field. Mathew started their career at Sovereign in 2007, where they held various roles in actuarial analysis and pricing until 2014. Mathew then joined Vero Insurance New Zealand as an Actuarial Manager and later as a Finance Manager. In 2016, they moved to Suncorp New Zealand, where they worked as a Manager in Capital. In 2017, they joined Suncorp Group as an Executive Manager, specializing in technical pricing and reinsurance. Most recently, they have been working at Ando Insurance as the Head of Actuarial and Pricing since 2020.

Mathew Jensen attended Auckland Grammar School from 1999 to 2003, where they completed their secondary education. Afterward, they pursued higher education at The University of Auckland from 2004 to 2007. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with a focus on Mathematics, Management, and Computer Science. Later on, from 2008 to 2013, Mathew Jensen attended the Institute of Actuaries Australia, though no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
