Mike Benson

Mike Benson has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Mike is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at Andover Bank since June 2022. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2022, they worked at Consumers National Bank as the Vice President and Akron Market Manager. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Vice President and Business Banker at Huntington National Bank. Before that, from 2008 to 2013, they held various positions at First Commonwealth Bank, including Senior Vice President & East Community Market Executive and S.V.P. & Market Exec, Emerging Markets Group. Mike also worked as an independent consultant for a short period in 2008. From 2004 to 2007, they were a Senior Vice President at FirstMerit Corp. Mike started their career in 1985 at National City Bank and held roles such as Senior Vice President & Area Manager, V.P. & Business Banking Officer, V.P. & Sr. Branch Manager, Branch Manager, and Assistant Branch Manager.

Mike Benson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Kalamazoo College from 1982 to 1985. Mike later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration from Kent State University from 2002 to 2004.
