Denise Ricard is a specialized professional with extensive experience in polymer science and material engineering. Denise served as a post-doctoral researcher at Institut Supérieur Technique de Lisbonne from 2001 to 2005, focusing on the development of polyurethane-based polymer membranes for gas permeability. Following this, Denise conducted research on the irradiation degradation of epoxy resins used in nuclear reactors during a post-doctoral position at Arts et Métiers ParisTech in early 2008. Since October 2008, Denise has been working as an organic materials engineer at Andra, where responsibilities include overseeing R&D on the long-term behavior of radioactive waste. Denise holds a Master's and Doctorate in polymer physical chemistry from Université d’état de Campinas UNICAMP, and a Bachelor's degree in chemistry from Université fédérale de São Carlos UFSCAR in Brazil.
