Pierre Toulhoat

Pierre Toulhoat has extensive experience in the field of scientific research and management, currently serving as the Président du Conseil scientifique at Andra since February 2020. Active in various organizations, Pierre Toulhoat has been a member of the Académie des technologies since November 2010 and held prominent roles such as Directeur général délégué at BRGM until December 2020 and Président du Conseil Scientifique at IRSN from January 2015 to December 2019. Throughout a distinguished academic career, Pierre Toulhoat was an Associate Professor at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 from 2003 to 2016 and has contributed to numerous scientific units at CNRS. Pierre Toulhoat's foundational education includes a doctorate in Earth Sciences from Ecole normale supérieure and a doctorat d'Etat from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
