Connie Chan

General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz

Connie Chan is a general partner at Andreessen Horowitz, a venture capital firm. Connie focuses on consumer technology investments. Prior to joining Andreessen Horowitz, Chan was a partner and head of the consumer sector at the firm.

Chan was previously the head of webOS China at HP, where they led partner software, business development, and developer recruitment efforts. Connie also initiated, negotiated, and closed contracts as the sole manager of relationships with many Top 20 websites for app development and strategic partnerships.

Before HP, Chan worked at Palm as the sr. product manager for App Catalog and the developer portal for all webOS devices. Connie launched 1.0 products that included a developer portal, internal app management and review tools, credit card payments, and new carriers and international stores. Chan also launched 1.1+ of Facebook mobile app on webOS. In addition to their work at Palm, Chan taught a computer science class at Stanford University called CS96SI Developing Mobile Apps with Web Technologies.

Chan started their career as a sr. associate at Elevation Partners, a private equity firm, where they worked for four years before joining Palm.

Connie Chan has a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University and an M.S. in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University.
