James Watson

James Watson has extensive experience in the biotech industry, with a focus on strategic planning, finance, and corporate development. James has held senior roles at various companies, including Carmot Therapeutics, Sigilon Therapeutics, and Alvine Pharmaceuticals Inc. Their responsibilities have included raising funds, establishing strategic partnerships, and managing corporate development activities. James is currently working as the Head of Business and Corporate Development for the Life Sciences Portfolio at Andreessen Horowitz.

James Watson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Portsmouth, where they studied from 1986 to 1989. James later pursued a Master's in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 1989 to 1991.
