Doug Zister is a highly experienced Race Engineer with a robust background in mechanical engineering and race car engineering, currently serving at Andretti Autosport since October 2016. With a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Zister has developed and engineered race vehicles across multiple series, including Indy Lights and IndyCar, leveraging expertise in vehicle dynamics, data acquisition, and race strategy. As the owner and consultant at Dynamic Dzine Inc. since 2000, Zister brings extensive knowledge in mechanical design and analysis, having worked with notable teams such as Schmidt Peterson Motorsports and Sam Schmidt Motorsports, where significant championship successes were achieved, including engineering numerous race wins and developing young racing talents.
