Anton Bothas is a Product Manager for Advanced Biofuels Gasification at ANDRITZ, focusing on the development of pressurized bubbling fluidized bed (BFB) Gasification technology for large-scale advanced biofuels production plants since December 2023. Prior to this role, Anton held multiple positions at Valmet from May 2011 to November 2023, including Engineering Manager for Environmental Systems, where responsibilities involved delivering flue gas cleaning and heat recovery solutions. Additional roles at Valmet included Project Engineer in Equipment Engineering, Site Advisor for a new BFB boiler project, and Design Engineer for power and recovery boiler deliveries, as well as a thesis worker. Anton holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Tampere University of Applied Sciences, obtained between 2008 and 2012.
