Gerhard Schiefer has extensive experience in automation and engineering, particularly in the pulp and paper industry. Since February 1990, Gerhard Schiefer has worked at ANDRITZ AG, serving in various leadership roles including Vice President of ANDRITZ Automation and Head of Engineering Group Automation, focusing on automation software, DCS application, and project deployment. Gerhard Schiefer also led the setup of ANDRITZ Software Standard for Automation and Control Systems, managed turnkey projects for pulp mill DCS, and coordinated group-wide automation systems for the Y2K initiative.
