Nick Damiano

Nick Damiano is the CEO and Co-Founder of Andromeda Surgical, which focuses on developing autonomous surgical robots, particularly in urology, as part of Y Combinator's Summer 2023 cohort. As a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund since 2017, Nick has been involved with one of the most active seed investment funds globally. Previously, Nick founded and served as CEO of Zenflow, Inc., leading the development of a minimally invasive treatment for urinary obstruction related to BPH, successfully treating over 300 patients and raising more than $60 million in funding. Nick also held the position of Chief Strategy Officer at APstem Therapeutics, co-founded Avail Medsystems (now Mendaera, Inc.), and has experience across various roles in medical technology and innovation, including a research engineer position focusing on leadless pacemaker technology at EBR Systems, Inc. Nick's education includes multiple degrees from Stanford University and participation in Y Combinator programs.
