David Vakhtangishvili has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. David is currently the Founder and CEO of Andromeda, a role they took on in January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chairman of the Board at Hydra Aesthetics starting from November 2021.
Before branching out into entrepreneurship, David held various senior management positions at Georgia Healthcare Group. David was the Deputy CEO (CIO, CRO) from April 2017 to May 2021, and prior to that, they served as the Group CFO from May 2015 to April 2017.
David's professional journey also includes a significant tenure at Bank of Georgia, where they served as the CFO from January 2007 to May 2015.
Prior to their career in finance, David gained valuable experience at EY as a Senior Manager, starting from January 2003 to January 2007. David started as a Senior Manager 1 from January 2003 to January 2005, and then progressed to the role of Senior Manager 3 from January 2005 to January 2007.
David's career began at Arthur Andersen & Co., where they worked as a Manager from September 1997 to January 2003.
David Vakhtangishvili completed their education with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Free University of Tbilisi from 1995 to 1999. David then pursued further education and obtained a degree in Artificial Intelligence from MIT Sloan School of Management, completing the program in 2020. Currently, they are enrolled in the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program (AMP), with an expected graduation year of 2022.
