Dottie Carroll

Dottie Carroll has over 40 years of work experience in the healthcare field. Dottie has held various roles in different organizations, starting from 1980. Dottie'smost recent position was as the Director of Compliance and Quality at Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice since 2019. Before that, they served as the Stroke Coordinator at MaineGeneral Medical Center from 2012 to 2019. Dottie also had a long and diverse tenure at MaineGeneral Health, where they held positions such as Manager Healthcare Quality, Project Manager Healthcare Quality, Administrative Director, Clinical Nursing Supervisor, Staff Nurse Operating Room, and Staff Nurse Critical Care, spanning from 1991 to 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Charge Nurse in the Newborn Nursery at Kennebec Valley Medical Center and in Obstetrics at Mid Maine Medical Center. Dottie's career began at Togus Veterans Hospital, where they worked as a Staff Nurse in the Critical Care department. Dottie also worked as a Staff Nurse at Nursing Agencies in Boston and Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Dottie Carroll earned their MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from Southern New Hampshire University from 2013 to 2016. Before that, they obtained a certificate in Project Management from the University of Maine in 2009. In 2008, Dottie received a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from the University of Maine. Dottie also completed an Associate's degree in Nursing and became a Registered Nurse (RN) from CMMC School of Nursing between 1978 and 1980. Dottie earned their High School Diploma from Marshwood High School in 1978.
