April Arias

April Arias has extensive work experience in the field of public relations and media. April started their career in 1996 as an Executive Producer at KPRC-TV and worked there until 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as an Editor at KROI News 92 FM. In the same year, they also worked as a Public Relations/Social Media Consultant at Arias Communications, where they developed and executed public relations, social media, and video marketing strategies for Houston area clients.

In 2014, April joined The Power Group as an Account Supervisor and was responsible for developing and executing public relations and media strategies for multiple national, regional, and local clients. April also managed a team of account executives and coordinators to increase client brand awareness and publicity.

April then took on the role of Media Relations Manager at The Power Group from 2018 to 2019. In this position, they managed agency team members in the creation and execution of integrated marketing communications programs for clients. April also developed relationships with key media outlets and conducted media training.

Currently, April is the Director of Public Relations at Androvett Legal Media & Marketing. April is responsible for the implementation of public relations and media plans for a wide range of clients. April participates in brainstorming and planning sessions to generate effective strategies and tactics. April also assists in the development and execution of media relations and marketing efforts to elevate clients' awareness.

April Arias attended Texas A&M University from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism.
