Joining JPMorgan Chase Bank in 2010, today Gretchen Alger Lin serves as Area Manager leading a team of six Business Relationship Managers supporting business clients throughout Southern Nevada providing depository, cash management, and access to capital solutions. Born and raised on a Christmas tree farm in New Jersey, she received her bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania before spending 11 years overseas living and working in Japan, Guam, and Australia. The majority of this time she was working within the hospitality industry as the sales manager of an upscale resort hotel which eventually led to a vice-president of marketing position with a Las Vegas entertainment production company.
Active in public affairs initiatives, Gretchen has sat as Vice-chair of an advisory council to the state of Nevada on children with special healthcare needs under a Real Choice Systems Change grant, led successful campaigns for expanded newborn screening in 17 states and four Canadian provinces, as well as the adoption and implementation of new EMS protocols in six states. She volunteers in the local community through the JPMorgan Chase Goodworks program as well as is active in the Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce, Business Resource Group, and Diversity initiatives. She is fluent in Japanese and a SCUBA Divemaster.
