Xuan Tran

Xuan Tran has a diverse and extensive work experience. They started their career as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Université de Rennes I, where they conducted research in economics and worked with professors to collect and analyze data. Xuan then transitioned to the role of Researcher in Economics at the same university, where they continued their quantitative research and managed study participants for data collection.

After completing their academic work, Xuan joined the Ministry of Justice of France as a Data Analyst, where they developed SQL queries to retrieve complex data and oversaw the creation and updating of policies, information, standards, and guidelines.

They then moved on to work at Sentifi as an IT Business Analyst, where they managed supplier relationships, led a project to build machine learning models in collaboration with data scientists, and facilitated research collaborations with quants, traders, and universities.

Next, Xuan joined TYME as a Senior IT Business Analyst, focusing on the technology hub of TYME BANK, South Africa's first fully digital bank. They worked closely with development, data, and UI/UX teams to create a digital banking app that delivered value to customers. They also worked with stakeholders to define detailed requirements based on their needs and concerns.

Subsequently, Xuan transitioned to Pizza 4P's as a Product Analyst, where they contributed to product analysis before joining Anduin Transactions as a Product Owner. At Anduin, Xuan worked on the flagship fund subscription platform, focusing on simplifying the digital onboarding experience for fund managers, allocators, and service providers. They spearheaded projects such as the permission system, single sign-on, analytics tab, and signature workflow.

Throughout their career, Xuan has acquired a strong skill set in research, data analysis, project management, stakeholder engagement, and product ownership.

Xuan Tran completed a Doctorate in Economics Science & Management from Université de Rennes I from 2012 to 2017. Before that, Xuan obtained a Master's degree in Engineering in Banking & Finance from Université de Rennes I in 2012.
