Dominic Surano

Dominic Surano is a highly experienced aerospace engineer with a strong background in unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and a proven track record in engineering leadership roles. Currently serving as a Senior Deployments Engineer and Lead Architect at Anduril Industries since February 2021, Dominic previously held a Product Manager position focused on system architecture at Insitu Inc from October 2017 to February 2021. Dominic has also worked as a Systems Engineer at Insitu, leading rapid development initiatives for new UAS capabilities, and as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, specializing in aeroelasticity and dynamic analysis. Education includes a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, as well as post-graduate study at San Diego State University.
