Ed Melkers

Ed Melkers has over 24 years of work experience, starting in 1996 at Hughes Aircraft Company as a GNC/Autopilot Flight Controls Engineer. Ed then worked at Sikorsky from 2000 to 2003 as an FBW Control Law Lead. In 2003, they joined Raytheon and held the position of Systems Design and Performance Integrated Product Team Lead, where they managed teams and a multi-million dollar budget. In 2020, they moved to Raytheon Technologies as a Program Execution Chief Engineer and later became a Program Chief Engineer. From 2021 to 2023, they worked at Raytheon Missiles & Defense as a Production Chief Engineer - Missile Program. Currently, Ed Melkers is the Chief Product Architect at Anduril Industries, starting in April 2023.

Ed Melkers studied Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at the University of Washington and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree.
