Sean Doherty

Sean Doherty has a diverse work history in the field of security engineering and software development. Sean is currently employed as a Lead Product Security Engineer at Anduril Industries since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Security Engineer from April 2020 to March 2023. Sean also served as a Senior Penetration Tester at Ionize from April 2018 to April 2020. Before that, they worked as a Software Developer at the Department of Defence from April 2015 to April 2018. Sean briefly worked as a Forensic Consultant at PwC Australia in February 2015. Additionally, they have experience as an IT Support Technician at the University of Melbourne from June 2012 to November 2014, an iOS Developer at the Department of Defence from October 2013 to March 2014, and an Information Security Tutor at RMIT University from August 2013 to November 2013.

Sean Doherty completed their Bachelor of Computer Science (Security) degree, specializing in Cryptography, at RMIT University from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) from GIAC Certifications in 2021, Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) from Offensive Security in 2019, Adversary Tactics:Red Team Operations from SpecterOps in 2018, and GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN) from GIAC Certifications in 2017.
