Melisa Sandoval

Melisa Sandoval has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Melisa started their career as a Copywriter at FILES | Inteligencia Digital from 2011 to 2013. Melisa then worked as a Web Content Manager at Webmedia Interactive - Agencia de Comunicaciones from 2013 to 2014. During this time, they also served as a Radio Producer and Social Media Manager at Universidad Nacional de La Matanza from 2012 to 2015.

In 2014, Melisa joined Avenida+ as a Copywriter before transitioning to a role as an Apparel Sales Associate at Dama de Copas from 2019 to 2021. As a sales associate, they gained experience in customer service and teamwork.

Melisa's interest in web development led their to enroll in freeCodeCamp, where they completed two online certifications in Front-end Web Development in 2021. Melisa then interned as a Software Engineer at Eventbrite from July 2022 to October 2022. During their internship, they worked on frontend enhancements and participated in the creation of a new app. Melisa reported bugs and suggested UX improvements that were implemented.

In 2022, Melisa also worked as a Frontend Developer on personal and academic projects, using technologies such as Vue.js, React, HTML5, CSS3/Sass, JavaScript, TypeScript, Supabase, Firebase, Bootstrap, and Tailwind.

Melisa recently joined Andy as a Junior Frontend Developer in June 2023. Melisa'swork experience reflects their continuous learning and growth in the field of frontend development.

From 2022 to 2023, Melisa attended Ironhack and obtained a degree in Frontend web development.

In 2021 to 2022, they enrolled in freeCodeCamp and completed the Responsive Web Design course (300 hours) as well as the JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures course (300 hours).

Earlier in their education, from 2011 to 2014, Melisa studied at Universidad Nacional de La Matanza and earned a Bachelor's degree in social communication, with a focus on Social Sciences.

Before that, from 2007 to 2010, they attended the same university and obtained an Associate Degree in Journalism, with a field of study in Mass Communication/Media Studies.

Melisa has also obtained several certifications. In February 2023, they received the English Certificate C2 Proficient from EF Standard English Test (EF SET). Melisa also completed a Front-End Web Development Course from Ironhack Spain in February 2023.

In 2022, Melisa obtained a certification in Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp in March.

Furthermore, in 2021, they completed a certification in JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures from freeCodeCamp in November.
