Alana Sanchez

Alana Sanchez is currently a Navigation Algorithm Engineer at ANELLO, a position held since February 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Stanford University School of Engineering from June 2020 to December 2023, where Alana investigated optimal constellation configurations for a Lunar Navigation Satellite System (LNSS) and modeled relativistic effects for lunar satellites. Alana's background also features a Graduate Technical Intern role at The Aerospace Corporation, focusing on RF simulations for lunar environments, and multiple undergraduate research assistant positions at prestigious institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University, where projects ranged from hybrid rocket propellant research to analysis of celestial spectroscopy. Alana holds a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
