Sam Faraghi

Sam Faraghi is a professional in naval architecture and marine engineering, currently serving as a Project Engineer and Naval Architect at ANEMOI since December 2020. Responsibilities at ANEMOI include rotor sail selection based on ship particulars, performance prediction calculations, preliminary stability calculations, concept drawings, and project coordination. Prior to ANEMOI, Sam worked at Cleanship Solutions from June 2018 to October 2020, focusing on designing in a 3D environment, communicating designs for client and manufacturer approval, and conducting various engineering tasks as a Graduate Naval Architect & Marine Engineer. Sam's career began as a Naval Architect Intern at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. in mid-2017, contributing to the development of an interactive General Arrangement tool. Sam holds a Master of Engineering in Naval Architecture with High Performance Marine Vehicles from the University of Strathclyde and a French Baccalaureat in Science.
