Lionel D'Souza

Lionel D'souza is a Performance Analyst at Anesco Ltd since November 2022, responsible for monitoring over 400MW of Solar Ground Mount and Commercial Rooftop Assets in the UK and generating asset performance reports. Prior experience includes serving as an Engineer in Energy Storage Systems R&D at Vazirani Energy Private Ltd, co-leading a project with IIT Bombay, and conducting research on various types of graphene. At the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Lionel contributed to the development of solid oxide fuel cells, synthesizing novel cathode materials and testing fuel cells, with findings presented at the APMA conference. Initial internship experience at Oriano Solar involved hands-on work with solar farm engineering and electrical systems. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Technologies from the University of Southampton and a Master of Technology in Energy Engineering from KJ Somaiya College of Engineering, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
