Ian Sadler has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Software Developer at Anessa since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at IBM as a Security Software Developer from May 2017 to December 2019, where they received an IBM student of the term award for their project contributions. During their time at IBM, they built and led the production and launch of an app for the QRadar public app exchange, as well as created a dashboard application using JavaScript, React, Node.js, and webpack.

Before IBM, Ian served as a Security Data Analyst at RBC from September 2016 to December 2016, where they worked on a joint project between RBC and IBM co-ops and developed a pilot cyber threat intelligence data analysis app for QRadar. Ian was responsible for developing the front-end of the application using JavaScript, jQuery, and D3.

Prior to their roles in the technology field, Ian worked as a Service Clerk and Cashier at MacArthur's Nurseries Inc. from November 2013 to August 2015.

Ian Sadler obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of New Brunswick, attending from 2015 to 2020. In addition, they received a certification in Interaction Design: Interface from LinkedIn in December 2020.
