Ilya Rodin

Chief Development Officer (CDO), Board director at ANGARA GLOBAL

Ilya Rodin has worked for a number of companies since 2007. Ilya began their career as a Key Account Manager at Huppmann in 2007, followed by a role as a Project Manager at JSC Stark in the same year. In 2009, they worked on Full-Time MBA projects at the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO. From 2011 to 2018, they held various positions at FPI Innovation Fund LP, including Partner and Investment Manager (Investment Director). In 2013, they became a Member of Expert Board at Russian Startup Rating and a Member of Expert and Judge Boards at The Federal Fund for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (FASIE). In 2016, they took on the role of Minigrant Committee member at Skolkovo Foundation. In 2018, they became Chief Development Officer (CDO) and Board Director at Angara Global, followed by a role as Chief Executive Officer and Director at the same company.

Ilya Rodin attended the MIT Sloan Executive Education Entrepreneurship Development Program at the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2010. Ilya then obtained an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Markets from the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo in 2009-2010. Between 2001-2007, they attended the National University of Science and Technology "MISIS" (Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys) and graduated with a degree in Automation in Metallurgy. In 2005-2006, they attended TU Bergakademie Freiberg and obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur in Stahlerzeugung (Steel Production).
