Devender Kumar has a diverse work experience that spans across various companies and roles. Devender started their career at Yahoo! as a Summer Intern in 2007. Devender then joined Angel Broking as an Assistant Vice President in May 2008 and later became a Deputy Vice President in March 2013. In 2014, they moved to Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd as a Vice President. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the CPTO at FunOnGo Media & Entertainment LLP, where they were responsible for heading the Products and Technology department and building three platforms. In 2018, they joined Angel One as the Senior Vice President for Angel Bee, a role they held until March 2020. Currently, they are the CXO - Digital Revenues at Angel One, responsible for driving revenues, LTV, and client profitability across Sales, Product, and Technology.

Devender Kumar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electronics & Communications from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a focus on Strategy & Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore from 2006 to 2008. Devender also obtained several certifications in the field of machine learning, including Convolutional Neural Networks, Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects. These certifications were obtained from Coursera between May and July 2018. The education history does not provide specific dates for the schooling at Rai School.
