Karan Jaitapkar

Karan Jaitapkar has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Karan currently holds the position of Head of Acquisition Analytics and User Growth at Angel One since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Digital at ABP Network from February 2021 to September 2023. From June 2020 to January 2021, Karan worked as a Technology and Product consultant at ABP Digital. Before that, they held the role of EVP, Head: Analytics & Technology at iProspect from February 2019 to May 2020.

From July 2016 to January 2019, Karan was the Vice President - Head of Engineering at Network18 Media & Investments Limited, where they managed the engineering for various digital platforms and developed an in-house DMP. Prior to that, they worked at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, where they served as the Business Head and Head of Technology for OZEE from March 2016 to July 2016, and as the Head of Technology for Ditto TV, Zee Digital & tensports.com from August 2013 to March 2016. In these roles, they focused on platform development and video streaming-related projects.

Karan's career started in 2000 as a Sr. Programmer at Cybersahibs. Karan later worked at Venture Infotek as an Asst. Manager from April 2002 to November 2003. Karan then joined The Times of India as Deputy Chief Manager, IT, where they stayed for almost a decade from November 2003 to July 2013.

Karan Jaitapkar completed their Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from Kishinchand Chellaram College of Arts Commerce and Science from 1996 to 2000. Karan then pursued an MBA in IT from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) from 2004 to 2007. Finally, they earned a Master's Degree in Masters of Computer Application through Sikkim Manipal University - Distance Education from 2011 to 2013.
