Sumukh Ghodke

Sumukh Ghodke has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles related to data science and technology. Sumukh is currently working as the VP Data Science at Angel One since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Science Consultant at DataDistil.in Technologies from April 2020 to December 2021. Sumukh also held the position of VP Data Science at Scripbox from August 2018 to April 2020. Sumukh Ghodke has worked as a Data Scientist at Aditazz Inc. from April 2017 to July 2018. Sumukh co-founded a conversational commerce start-up called Chaterji in June 2016, where they were responsible for product conceptualization, design, and development of a chatbot platform primarily targeting customer support and marketing domains. Sumukh Ghodke also worked as a Technical Consultant - Data Science at Sakhatech Information Systems Pvt. Ltd from September 2014 to June 2016. Sumukh started their career as a Freelance Consultant at Aiaioo Labs from April 2012 to January 2016. Sumukh pursued their PhD in the field of data science as a PhD Student at the University of Melbourne from 2008 to January 2012. In addition, they gained research experience as a Research Engineer at NICTA from June 2011 to October 2011 and as an Intern at Microsoft Research India from December 2007 to March 2008.

Sumukh Ghodke has a strong educational background in computer science and engineering. Sumukh attended RV College of Engineering from 1999 to 2003, earning a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications. Following this, they pursued a Master of Software Systems Engineering at the University of Melbourne from 2006 to 2007. Subsequently, they furthered their studies at the same university, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Computational Linguistics from 2008 to 2011.
