Dan Jones

Dan Jones, MS, CSCS, USAW1, currently serves as the Head of Sports Science at Angel City Football Club since February 2023. Previously, Dan worked as a Senior Applied Performance Specialist at Kitman Labs, where responsibilities included improving player health and integrating sports technology for various leagues, including the MLS and NWSL. Dan's experience also includes roles as an Applied Sports Scientist for the Portland Timbers and as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at LA Galaxy, where performance management and athlete rehabilitation were key focuses. With a foundational career that began at Bowerman Sports Science Clinic and internships at Athletes' Performance, Dan holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon.
