Matt Wade

Matt Wade is an experienced sports executive currently serving as the Assistant General Manager at Angel City Football Club since September 2024. Previously, Matt held the title of Head of Sporting Strategy at Feyenoord Rotterdam N.V. from May 2022 to September 2024, where responsibilities included aligning strategic objectives with practical outcomes across various teams and reporting to the Board of Directors. In addition, Matt worked as a Football Strategy Consultant for Bloom Sports Partners and as Commercial VP & Sporting Strategy Consultant at Sportsology. Prior experience includes roles such as Business Development Manager at Catapult Sports and Offensive Coordinator for the Great Britain U19s American Football team. Matt also has a background in IT services from SICL Ltd and volunteer experience as a Special Constable with Greater Manchester Police. Matt holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from Leeds Beckett University and has completed multiple levels of Talent Identification in Football through PFSA.
