Matthew Butler has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Matthew began their career in 1999 as an Advanced Life Guard for the City of Phoenix before transitioning to the Parks and Recreation Lead role. In 2004, they joined the Rural/Metro Corporation as an Emergency Medical Technician and later became a Ground Paramedic. From 2009 to 2010, Matthew worked as a Flight Paramedic for Trauma Flight. Matthew then joined Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance Services in 2010, initially as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic and later as a Flight Coordinator/Case Manager. In 2016, Matthew assumed the position of Chief Flight Coordinator at Angel MedFlight, where they currently work.

Matthew Butler attended Glendale Community College from 2004 to 2005, where they studied Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic).
