Dan Huang

Dan is a Capital Markets Managing Director at Angel Oak Capital where he serves as part of the Whole Loan team with a focus on the valuation and management of the mortgage portfolio. He is also responsible for developing new mortgage initiatives with both Angel Oak affiliates and third-party originators.

Dan has nearly three decades of experience across the capital markets, structuring, and whole loan sectors. Prior to Angel Oak, Dan worked on the broker-dealer side with a heavy emphasis on non-agency RMBS and CRA whole loan strategies. Prior to that, Dan worked at Countrywide Securities where he headed the efforts in the issuance of over $90 billion of subprime, Alt-A, HELOC, and 2nd Lien papers. Dan began his career in 1994 with Ocwen Financial Corporation.

Dan holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
