Penelope Young

Penelope is a Portfolio Analyst at Angel Oak Capital where she focuses on whole loan trading and analysis. She also assists the Portfolio Managers and Senior Portfolio Analysts with developing strategies in mortgage credit.

Penelope joined Angel Oak in 2018, holding various positions on Angel Oak Lending’s Secondary/Capital Markets team. She began as a Secondary Marketing Analyst in 2018, processing lock requests for the lending channels. She went on to hold the roles of Trade Desk Analyst and, later, Senior Analyst of Capital Markets Trading and Execution, where she was responsible for trading and hedging non-QM and agency production. She transferred to Angel Oak Capital Advisors in 2023.

Penelope holds a dual B.B.A degree in Finance and Marketing from Georgia State University.
