Karin Bengtsson

Karin Bengtsson has extensive experience in event and business development, currently serving as Näringsliv- och Evenemangsutveckling at Ängelholms kommun since November 2022. Karin is also the owner of Restaurang Verandan in Båstad, a dining establishment known for its inviting atmosphere since March 2021. Previous roles include being the CEO of Padel Explosion AB, overseeing a nationwide youth padel tournament from November 2021 to November 2022, and leading as CEO of Båstad Turism & Näringsliv from June 2009 to April 2021. Karin has contributed to local development as a board member at Ängelholms Flygplats AB and Leader, and chaired the management group for a tourism and service specialization program at Akademi Båstad Yrkeshögskola from August 2009 to August 2022. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Work Science from Halmstad University and UGL training from Militärhögskolan Halmstad in 2006.
