Erkan Bayol

Erkan Bayol has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry, starting in 2015. Erkan worked at Crytek, where they first served as a Publishing Producer for Warface's Turkish version before being promoted to the role of Director of Game Operations. Erkan successfully restructured the publishing and operations team and implemented agile methodologies, resulting in increased KPIs for Warface in the local market.

In 2016, Erkan Bayol founded Metaverse Reality Labs, a company focused on virtual reality. Erkan then went on to work as a Turkey Representative and Investment Specialist for J.P. Morgan in 2019.

From 2018 to 2020, Erkan held various positions simultaneously. Erkan worked as a Managing Consultant for Logic Artists, setting up and managing the Istanbul expansion of the independent game development studio. Erkan also served as a Board Member for OYUNDER Game Designers, Developers Producers & Publishers Association, and as a Partner for The Hatchery, a venture collaboration forum.

Erkan Bayol has also been involved in education, working as a Lecturer at Bahcesehir University since 2017. Erkan primarily taught game production and game business courses, focusing on agile methodologies and entrepreneurship in the technology start-up sector. Erkan also worked as a Mentor at Istanbul Technical University and FasterCapital, mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs.

Most recently, Erkan founded Metaverse Game Studios, Inc. in 2020, where they currently hold the position of Founder and CEO. The company is working on developing and publishing cross-platform games, with their current project being Angelic, a narrative multiplayer Strategy RPG set in a sci-fi metaverse backed by blockchain technology.

Erkan Bayol completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Administration from Anadolu University, where they studied from 2002 to 2011.
