Matt Wilson

Matt Wilson is the Founder and Managing Director of Allied Venture Partners, a position held since 2020, with a focus on angel investing and connecting with the startup ecosystem in Western Canada. With a background in entrepreneurship, Matt has made over 100 investments as an Angel Investor and Venture Capital Scout since 2012, including notable exits with Pinterest and Lyft. Other notable roles include Co-Founder of BeerGuys Promotions Inc., where more than $300,000 was raised for local charities, and serving as a Startup Advisor for GRG Collective. Matt holds various educational credentials, including an MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute and a certificate in Private Equity & Venture Capital from Harvard Business School.
