Susan Carpenter has over 25 years of experience in administrative and quality control roles across various industries. Currently serving as an Administrative Assistant at Angels' Place since February 2019, Susan previously held positions such as Document Control Administrator at Quality Chemical Laboratories and Document Control Supervisor at Chemtex. Throughout their career, Susan has emphasized project documentation management, internal audit program development, and compliance with Quality System and Environmental Management System requirements. Earlier roles include Quality Systems Analyst at Sturdy Corporation and QA/QC Administrative Assistant at Evergreen Packaging, where Susan gained extensive experience in ISO 9000 procedures and calibration database management. Susan's education includes studies at Delta College and DD Eisenhower High School from 1976 to 1980.

Angels' Place
Angels' Place is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 1992, that provides homes and services to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We operate twenty homes in Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland Counties, that provide specialized residential care, supported independent living, and community-based services to over 150 individuals. We also provide Abundant Life Services including transitional services, educational workshops, community support for those living on their own, respite programs for caregivers, and many other types of outreach. It is our mission to provide people-centered services and homes with a Christian family environment of love and compassion, coupled with an atmosphere of acceptance, dignity, well-being, and the potential for personal growth and acceptance. Angels' Place relies on the professional expertise and dedicated leadership of a volunteer Board of Directors to cast and fulfill the strategic vision for the organization, as well as compassionate Direct Care Professionals and volunteers to carry out our services. Over 25% of funding comes from fundraisers, 53% from the Community Mental Health Authority, and the remaining 22% from social security, supplemental income and private payments. Angels’ Place also heavily relies on donations to keep our homes open and provide much-needed services for the individuals in our care.
