Edgar P. has extensive experience in information security, risk management, and fraud prevention, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently, Edgar serves as a member of the General Members' Committee at the Observatório de Economia e Gestão de Fraude and as an angel investor in startups through AngelsWay. Edgar has held significant roles including Security Director at Remote, where responsibilities included executing a comprehensive security strategy and enhancing compliance with international regulations, and Group CISO at YNV Group, where Edgar revamped the security program. Prior experience includes key positions at Talkdesk as Information Security VP and various teaching roles at Porto Business School and ESTG-IPVC. Edgar holds a Master’s degree in Informatics and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer from the Universidade do Porto.
