Abraham Duplaa has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Abraham is currently a Technical Product Manager at Angle Health, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Netlight as a Senior Product Manager Consultant from October 2022 to April 2023.
From July 2021 to August 2022, Abraham worked at Kyte as a Product Manager, where they managed products related to fleet management, customer verification, and delivery-driver matching algorithms. Abraham also empowered two engineering teams and implemented agile processes for them.
Before that, Abraham was the Co-Founder and CTO of faktual from April 2019 to April 2021. faktual is a NLP-supported research and content gathering suite whose IP was fully acquired during Abraham's tenure.
From February 2019 to February 2020, Abraham worked as a Developer Advocate at OmniSci, where they processed traffic data and built data pipelines utilizing OmniSci's analytics platform. Abraham also wrote technical blogs to showcase the platform's capabilities.
Abraham's earlier experiences include being a Computer Scientist at Siemens in 2018, a Data Engineer at Volkswagen Data:Lab Munich from 2017 to 2018, and a Drilling Engineer at Southwestern Energy from 2015 to 2016. At Southwestern Energy, they also took on the role of Production Engineer for a brief period.
In addition, Abraham served as the President of the American Association of Drilling Engineers (AADE) Penn State in 2014, where they coordinated club activities and created networking opportunities for members. Abraham also had an internship as a Drilling Engineer Intern at Southwestern Energy in 2014.
Abraham Duplaa has a Master's degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM). Abraham also holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computational Science and Engineering from the Technical University of Munich. Additionally, Abraham has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Penn State University.
Abraham has obtained the certification of "Engineer in Training" from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in December 2016.
