Alice Clayton

Alice Clayton currently serves as the Coordinator of Leadership Development and Grants, and previously held the position of Principal at Angleton Junior High within the Angleton Independent School District since June 2017. Prior to this, Alice was Principal at Livingston Junior High from June 2016 to June 2017. Alice's earlier roles include Assistant Principal at Goose Creek CISD from 2003 to June 2016, where responsibilities included managing 6th grade instructional programs and overseeing special education initiatives, achieving significant increases in STAAR scores. Earlier in Alice's career, positions included Assistant Principal focused on staff development and Advanced Placement Art Teacher, contributing to district art curriculum and innovative art programs. Alice began the educational journey as an Art Teacher at Clear Creek ISD from 1998 to 2003. Alice holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Bachelor's Degree in Fine/Studio Arts from Stephen F. Austin State University.
