John Goodman II

John Goodman II is the Founding Executive Director of Anglican Legal Aid & Reconciliation, a faith-based nonprofit legal clinic housed within Christ Church of the Rio Grande Valley. Prior to this role, John served as the Rector of Christ Church of the Rio Grande Valley and worked as an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Calixtro Villarreal. John also has experience as a Summer Law Clerk at the Texas Attorney General's Office, a Secondary Education Teacher at La Joya Independent School District, an AmeriCorps Member with Teach For America, a Nuclear Reactor Operator in the US Navy, a Senior Pastor at Free Methodist Church - USA, and a Legislative/Communications Intern at National Grange. John holds a JD from The University of Texas at Austin, an MAT in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a BA in Political Science from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
