Michael Shipma

Michael Shipma serves as a Priest and Deacon at The Jurisdiction of the Armed Forces and Chaplaincy since January 2023. As an Active Duty Chaplain in the US Army since January 2016, Shipma has also held roles as a Reserve Chaplain and Director of Religious Education. Previously, Shipma was a Minister with the Presbyterian Church In America until January 2023, and served as Assistant Pastor and School Administrator at Westminster Presbyterian Church from July 2011 to September 2015. Additional experience includes Head of School roles at Veritas Classical Academy and Providence Hall, Pastor at the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, and Chaplain at Mercy Health. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Ministry from Wesley Theological Seminary (in progress), a Master of Divinity from Mid-America Reformed Seminary, and a Bachelor's degree from Kuyper College.
