Taizya Phiri

Taizya Phiri currently serves as the ITC Regional Manager for Anglicare NSW South, NSW West & ACT, beginning in June 2023, and is also acting as the Senior Manager for ITC and the Premier Youth Program at the University of Technology Sydney since February 2024. Previous experience includes roles as a Sessional Academic at Excelsia College, Master of Social Work Field Education Supervisor at Marist180, and Therapeutic Support Independent Living House Coordinator. Taizya has a strong background in supporting individuals with disabilities through various positions held at Northcott and Hireup, as well as experience in emergency relief and settlement support for diverse communities at the Western Sydney MRC. Early career roles included a Social Work Intern with Inner Sydney Voice and Nurse Assistant at Aegis Aged Care Group. Educational qualifications include a Master of Development Studies from UNSW and a Bachelor of Social Work (Hons), also from UNSW, along with a Diploma of Community Services Work.
