Cristiano Cobo

Cristiano Cobo is an experienced professional in the mining and industrial sectors, currently serving as the Diretor Tecnico e Sustentabilidade and Head of P101 Projects at Anglo American since February 2015, while also holding the title of Nickel Operations Director and being a member of the Executive Committee in Brazil. Previously, Cobo held various leadership roles, including Port Director at CSN and South/Southeast Ports Director at Vale, along with managing fertilizers as General Manager at Vale. Earlier positions include Operations Director at CADAM PPSA and Gerente PCP e Sistema Gestão Integrada at CADAM S.A. Cobo's educational background includes an Advanced Management Program from IESE Business School, Talent Management and Mastering Leadership Challenge programs from IMD, the Vale Leadership Program from MIT Sloan School of Management, and an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Dom Cabral, complemented by a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from PUC Minas.
