Fernando Lage

Fernando Lage has over 38 years of experience in the mining and operations sector, currently serving as Operation General Manager at Anglo American since August 2006, having previously held the role of Operation Manager. Prior to this, Fernando worked at Vale from July 1985 to July 2006, where roles included Process Manager and Operation Manager. Fernando's educational qualifications include a specialization in Process Engineering from IETEC, an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Dom Cabral, a degree in Portuguese Language from Universidade Federal do Pará, and a technical qualification in Mining from Escola Técnica Vital Brasil.
