Hilary Maxson is an Independent Non-executive Director at Anglo American. Hilary has a long and successful career in finance, most recently serving as SVP and CFO of Schneider Electric's €20 billion Energy Management business. In this role, Hilary was responsible for financial, risk and transformation leadership of the business, which is comprised of 5 strong business units with worldwide leadership in low and medium voltage as well as secure power. Hilary was also appointed Lead Member of Operating Finance Committee responsible for ensuring Schneider Group results and delivering key finance transformations.
Prior to their role in Energy Management, Hilary served as SVP Finance & CFO of Schneider Electric's Building and IT business. In this role, Hilary was responsible for the financial leadership of the business, which is comprised of 3 business units with global leadership positions in building automation and control, physical security and access control, and data centers.
